I like things simple.
Complicated just doesn’t work well for me!
I know I can’t be the only one who feels this way… so my question is,
Why do we make network marketing so darn complicated?
When I think about the people I know who
A) know what I do ,but
B) have never shown an interest in doing anything in this industry themselves,
I sometimes like to ask myself why?
Why isn’t EVERYONE doing network marketing?
And I’ve decided it’s because a lot of people just think it’s too complicated.
They don’t want to mess with it.
They aren’t sure they’d be good at it.
They don’t really even know what it is.
But they’re fairly certain it just isn’t for them.
All they “know” is that we spend a lot of time in front of the computer, make friends with random people we meet online and actually manage to make a bit of money in “one of those pyramid things”.
And here’s the next big revelation… if people don’t understand this industry, then isn’t it (at least partly) at the fault of those of us who are already in it?
Yeah, that one’s gonna hurt for a day or two.
So I have this mentor… and the reason he became my mentor is because back when I first got started in this industry he provided training to me in a way I actually understood.
And not only could I understand it, but I actually believed I could implement it.
And I did.
And I was successful.
So let’s stop all the nonsense. Let’s stop all the complicated BS and go back to the core of what network marketing really is:
Network Marketing is finding a product you love, and actually getting paid to share it with people you know.
Network Marketing is a team sport. It is being in business for yourself, but having a dedicated team of people who have a viable interest in your success.
Why do they have a viable interest in your success? Because they get paid when you are successful. Duh!
But guess what? When you help other people become successful, you get paid too.
In fact, you can get paid MORE than the person who helped you.
NEWS FLASH: The people at the top don’t always make the most money.
Network Marketing comes down to 3 simple steps:
Finding people to talk to.
Telling them why you love your product and company so much.
Helping those who choose to join you do the exact same thing.
It’s not rocket science.
It’s not even brain surgery.
In fact, it’s pretty darn simple.
When you do these 3 things you get paid… and sometimes you even get fun bonuses like trips and cars and stuff.
You get to make lots of new friends, and you get recognized for your achievements. And how much money you make is directly related to how much you do those three simple steps.
It’s not “get rich quick”, it’s just “get rich quicker”.
It’s not perfect, it’s just better.
That’s all folks!
So how about we make a deal?
How about we stop all of this “Earn $10,000 your first week and retire in 2 seconds” crap?
How about we stop focusing on what’s in it for me and start focusing on sharing products we love with people we love?
How about we make a commitment to elevate this profession to a higher level of credibility and integrity?
And then…. and THEN… how about we go out there and share this incredible, one-of-a-kind profession with the world?
