Network Marketing Tips — Use This Simple Blueprint to Create a 6-Figure Income
In this article I share some network marketing tips and a simple blueprint to create a 6-figure income with your business. This blueprint has 4 steps that, when done consistently, will help you quickly generate a full time income with your business. By repeating this formula consistently for just a few years, and teaching your team to do the same, you can be earning a 6- or 7- figure income and beyond.

Now there are a couple of reasons why I’m sharing these network marketing tips with you today:
First, is because I’ve found most people don’t have a lot of clarity of around what specific actions they should be taking each day to create a 6-figure income in network marketing.
Secondly, I’ve also found that when people get stuck in their business, it’s usually the result of a disconnect in one of the steps in this formula. They’re usually skipping a step, not doing enough of a certain step or haven’t mastered the skills so they can execute these steps effectively.
Today I’m going to share this four step formula with you and give you some specific examples of how these network marketing tips will look inside your business.
One of the best network marketing tips I can give you is…
Prospecting has two parts: It’s finding people to talk to, and introducing them to your network marketing products or business opportunity.
Presentation is when someone who has agreed to take a look actually sits down to hear your company’s product and business story to learn how it might benefit them. This can happen in variety of ways, which I’ll cover in just a little while.
Duplication is the heart of any network marketing organization. Network Marketing Pro Eric Worre has said, “Network marketing without duplication is just another job.”
So what is duplication? Simply put, duplication says: “What I’m about to do with you, you must be able to immediately do with the next person you meet, with or without my help, whether that person lives across the street, across the city, across the country or around the world.”
I’ve found some network marketers are able to get to the $2-$3,000 a month income range without duplication if they really hustle. Usually, in this case, that income is coming from their own customer base and a few personally enrolled team members.
But to get to a solid 6-figure income, and especially a 7-figure income in network marketing you absolutely must have duplication. At the end of the day true network marketing freedom is created by a lot of people doing a little. And that requires duplication.
Duplication happens when you have a clear system in place that anyone can plug into, regardless of their experience or skill level. Does that mean everyone WILL? Absolutely not! But if anyone can, some will… they will take action, remain consistent and commit to getting better at the steps so they can create their own 6 and 7 figure incomes.
I could do an entire podcast series on duplication, but that’s not what today’s article is about. I just want to point out that as powerful as the network marketing tips in this blueprint will be when you begin implementing it yourself, its power is magnified a hundred times if you teach it to your team and they begin using this formula too. So feel free to share this episode with them so they can learn the formula and get the resources too!
I coach people on the assumption that they are working on their business at least 5 days a week. It doesn’t have to be Monday – Friday, but I believe it’s consistent action each week that creates results in your business, so you should be doing SOMETHING for your business 5 out of 7 days each week.
The steps in this 6-Figure Blueprint work best when following this plan and can be completed in as little as an hour some days, and should never take any longer than an hour and a half. Each of the network marketing tips in the blueprint is an income producing activity, so each week pick 5 days where you can devote 1 to 1 ½ hours to income producing activities that build your network marketing business.
Before We Jump In, Let’s Break Down the Word Network Marketing:
We get paid to market products to our network. Or in other words, we get paid to promote and sell products and services to the people we know and the people we meet.
Most people come into network marketing understanding that they will need to learn how to promote and sell the products. They understand they will need to learn how to invite someone to take a look, how to present the information to them, how to overcome objections and take their customer orders or enroll them in the business.
But here’s where people get stuck:
When they first get started and are told to ‘make their list’, they think they list they have is the list they’re stuck with! Small or large… supportive or unsupportive… extra cash to spend or dead broke… whatever it is, it is. And often what it is, just isn’t that great.
The thing is, networking is also a skill that can be learned. The network you have when you start your business is not the network you are stuck with! You can learn how to grow your network in such a way that you NEVER run out of people to talk to about your business.
Network Marketing Tips | Step #1: Meet 5 New People a Day
If networking is a learnable skill (which it is) then I promise you can learn how to easily meet 5 people a day. And believe me… you’re oh so lucky we live in a day where social media is king, because let me tell you… meeting 5 new people a day was not nearly as easy when I first got started back in 2005!
Seriously, when I think about all the things I’ve done to meet new people throughout my network marketing career I just have to laugh. I was either really determined or really stupid… regardless, I’m so glad social media came along to give us another way!
The rules haven’t changed: To grow your network, go where the people are! And where are the people today? They are on social media!
Every day over 1.6 BILLION people log into their Facebook account. You think you might be able to find a few who are interested in your products or your business?
My top strategy for meeting new people on Facebook is to use Facebook groups. Take a sheet of paper and write down the top 5 things you are interested in: are you a dog lover? Do you love taking beach vacations? Are you an avid reader? Or do you enjoy discussing business and finance?
Whatever you’re passionate about, I guarantee there are other people who are passionate about it too. And not only that, but there’s a Facebook group for that!
I recommend starting by joining 5 new Facebook Groups now, then adding one new group a month.
You may be wondering: Do I have any network marketing tips for what to do once you join the group?
There’s actually a really big secret I’ve found to work particularly well. Are you ready? They key is to ACT LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!
For real… like, comment and engage in people’s posts, and post some on your own. If you connect with someone in post or through comments, reach out to them directly through a private message and send them a friend request. Then, add them to your list. But here’s the thing: DON’T PITCH YOUR BUSINESS YET. This is NOT about pitching your business to 5 people people a day… it’s about growing your network. Growing your list. Growing your NETWORK.

Network Marketing Tips | Step #2: Reach Out to 3 New People Every Day About Your Products or Business
This step is essential because it keeps your funnel full. New prospects are the lifeblood of your network marketing business, and sadly I would say 99% of network marketers are struggling simply because they are not talking to enough people!
Reach out to 3 new people a day, 5 days a week. This is a minimum! A benchmark.
I recommend leading with the opportunity most of the time, although you might find a few instances when leading with the product is a better way to go. The reason I recommend this is because if someone says no to the opportunity, it’s very easy to ask if they have interest in becoming a customer, and then, regardless of whether they become a customer or not, ask for referrals.
I don’t have space to go into it here on this article, but in the PDF 6-Figure Blueprint Guide I’ve created for you I included a script for the direct approach and a script for the indirect, so you can see for yourself exactly what language to use to get the best results.
Regardless of which approach you use though, the key is to always be authentic. Be yourself! And one of the best network marketing tips I can give you when it comes to reaching out is to reach out to that person just like you would if you were inviting them to a movie or to go out to dinner. If you would normally text them, text them! If you’d normally reach out through Facebook, do that! Stay congruent and don’t be weird!
Network Marketing Tips | Step #3: Follow Up with 2 People a Day
This is THE most important step in the formula… but the key is you can only get to this step if you are consistently doing steps 1 and two.
Did you know that 48% of people NEVER follow up with a prospect? And of those who DO follow up, only 10% make more than 3 contacts.
And yet, 80% of all sales are made between the 5th and twelfth contact.
Call me crazy, but there is something seriously wrong with that picture!! We have got to get serious about upping our follow up game if we want to up our business results!
Here are my network marketing tips for following up:
Have a clear set of steps you take your prospects through that are designed to lead them to a decision.
And never end one conversation without sharing the next step in the process and setting up a time to have the next conversation… preferably within 24-48 hours.

Network Marketing Tips | Step #4: Follow Through with 1 Person On Your Team a Day
Now, what do I mean by follow through? Some days this might be nothing more than a quick text message or a facebook message. Other days it might be a pre-scheduled coaching call.
This does not include any kind of three-way calls or three-way messaging you do with your team. This is truly just touching base and offering help or encouragement to someone on your team.
When someone new joins my business I check in with them daily for the first 30 days, then I continue to offer monthly coaching appointments to go over the previous months numbers and set goals for the new month.
Of course I’m available almost daily for three-way calls or messages, and for quick questions. And if you are consistently doing the first 3 steps in this formula this one will take care of itself. In fact, when you really get some momentum going you’ll likely be talking to more than one team member a day, and that’s a good thing!

So simple, in fact, that most people won’t do it. Most people won’t meet 5 new people, reach out to 3, follow up with 2 and follow through with 1… 5 days a week consistently enough for a long enough period of time to create a 6-Figure income.
It might sound kind of harsh, but it’s true! But here’s something else that’s true… you don’t have to be ‘most people’. You can be one of the few who puts this formula into action and creates true success with your network marketing business!
