This is a big one. The Law of Attraction is one of those success principles that can make or break your goal setting efforts faster than you can say “That’s a bunch of phooey.” Because it’s not. And the thing is… the Law of Attraction is active in your life whether you are aware of it or meandering along in not-so-blissful ignorance. Just like gravity, it’s always there… our job is to make it work FOR us, not against us!
So what gives? What exactly is the Law of Attraction?
Simply stated it is that “you attract into your life whatever you dominantly think about.” Or, to put it another way, like attracts like.
So how do we go about taking the Law of Attraction and making it work in our favor? Here are a few tips to help you out:
#1) Focus on the SOLUTION, not the problem.We all are guilty of this… you look at the bank account and for whatever reason the numbers just don’t add up that month. There are more days than there are dollar signs and you can’t help but spend the next few days thinking about this obvious problem. “We need to cut back expenses.” “We don’t have enough money to get through the month.” “We need to make more money.”
The problem with each of these statements is they are coming from a place of LACK rather than a place of abundance. Change your thoughts to things like,”We have more money than we have expenses.” “We have more than enough money to get through the month.” “We make more money than we need.”
Learn to change your negative phrases into positive ones and you are well on your way to activating the Law of Attraction in your life!
#2) Get the solution into your SUBCONSCIOUS mind. Here is where most people go wrong. Changing the way you phrase your thoughts in your conscious mind is simple enough… just about anyone can do that if they try.
The tricky part is getting those thoughts from your head (conscious mind) to your heart (subconscious mind).I just so happened to record a video yesterday that talks about how you can do just that! It’s entitled “Create a Clear Vision” and you can check it out on my YouTube Channel.
When you can learn to activate the powers of your subconscious mind, you have cleared the hurtle that most never do… and the Law of Attraction can now work in your favor.
#3) Do this CONSISTENTLY.I talk about consistency so much it might as well be my middle name. Why? Because I have experienced the heartbreak that can come with being inconsistent one too many times in my own life. It hits close to home, and I want desperately for others to learn from my mistakes rather than having to learn from their own.
This is the final tip I want to share with you today — turn your attraction way of thinking into a HABIT!These days, its rare for me to park anywhere but on or near the front row. My Nana calls it luck… I tell her its intention. What’s more is, I rarely even consciously think about finding a good parking spot anymore! Out of habit I simply drive up near the door of whatever store or restaurant I want to go into, and 9 times out of 10 there is a parking spot available.Learn to create the habit of expectation. Learn to become surprised when things DON’T work out in your favor rather than when they do. Expect things to go well. Develop that expectation deep within your subconscious mind and get ready to watch your life change!
